This amazing man Andy Whitfield played Spartacus in Spartacus-Blood and sand. He played the character so amazingly that one season was not enough for the world…he was battling a disease called Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (which is a type of cancer)and was declared clear of the disease in 2010.Unfortunately he got re-diagnosed with the same disease and died from it in 2011. You would not think a man in such a healthy and beautiful condition could have cancer ,especially while playing such a strenuous character in a seriously physical tv series…..He was a brilliant man and such an amazing actor and he is undoubtedly sorely missed by millions…RIP to the legend among legends ,Andy Whitfield <3
